Let us introduce ourselves. Crossfire Paintball is a ministry of Second Baptist Church designed to reach people of all ages for the glory of Christ. We stand for the utmost honesty and integrity in every situation. At Crossfire, we pray hard and we play hard. Our paintball field is a woods-ball feild that spans over 20 acres of land. On the field we play team elimination games, capture the flag, sniper games, defender games, and an assortment of others. The field has all the essentials: a twin engine plane, a hollowed out hippie van, over 1000 barrells turned into forts, and various cars and trucks (these are all covered in paint of course). Our Story:
Halfway through the 1990′s, a student came up to the youth minister of the Second Baptist youth ministry and said, “We should start a paintball field!” That student’s dream made its mark. In 1995, the youth ministry of Second Baptist had found a generous landowner who allowed us to begin the first and longest-lasting paintball field in Midland, TX! The field helps to support the youth ministry of Second Baptist by providing ministry funds and sending students to camp each year. It is not a staff-led ministry, but a student-led ministry, and has been since its conception. The students load, unload, prep and clean the equipment. The students referee the games; and the students provide well-trained measures of safety that allow youth groups, birthday parties, businesses and groups that just want to have fun to come out and have a great time!
